So many amazing opportunities…

So many amazing opportunities to share with you that I don’t have space for a full blog this month! And some of them close this Sunday – lucky we have a long weekend to work on applications!

Coffee lucky dip

I recently presented at the 10th Public Sector Women conference in Melbourne on one of my favourite topics: networking. And one of my tips was to participate in my coffee lucky dip! So if you would like to be part of a mini coffee lucky dip, let me know – I have a swag of people to match up. If you want to be part of it, email me and I’ll pair you up with someone.

Read about the experiences of previous coffee lucky dippers.

Myer Innovation Fellowships 2019 closes Sunday 30 September

Sitting on a great idea? How about 12 months and $120,000 to make it hatch?

Over the past five years the Myer Innovation Fellowship program has unearthed 15 amazing individuals who have used the fellowship to help realise their big idea.

Now, they’re looking for the 2019 Fellows:

The program seeks exceptional leaders across all sectors (private, public and non-profit) and from all types of professional backgrounds. For us, the idea is king. We will consider both the quality of the break-through idea and the capacity of the applicant to implement this idea.

In 2019 three Fellows will each receive $120,000 along with select administrative and operational support for their 12 months commitment to the program.

This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to step outside the routine and rhythm of everyday life and chase down an answer to the great tests we face as a nation.’

Williamson Leadership Program closes Sunday 30 September

Applications are now open for one of Australia’s most sought-after leadership development experiences, the Williamson leadership program. The program is a year long leadership experience involving two days per month, two retreats and two overnight field trips, coaching, mentoring and leadership profiling. I did the program in 2010 and highly recommend it. The application process can take some time. Applications close on 30 September, so get to it if you are keen for an amazing, transformative 2019!

Women in Renewables

The Clean Energy Council’s Women in Renewables initiative champions women in renewable energy while striving to achieve a better gender balance across all levels of the industry. Through building a united community of men and women who share a collective mission and vision, we will in turn enable women to step up as empowered leaders within their organisations.

2019 Women in Renewables scholarship now open.

The Clean Energy Council (CEC) has two separate rounds of scholarships for 2019. A scholarship to complete the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) Foundations of Directorship course, followed by a scholarship for the Your Leadership Voice: Women in Focus seven-day program from Monash Business School.

That’s it from me this month. A swag of fabulous opportunities. Go forth and apply for some magic in 2018!
