Williamson Leadership Program

Applications are now open for one of Australia’s most sought-after leadership development experiences  the Williamson leadership program. The program is a year long leadership experience involving two days per month, two retreats and two overnight field trips, coaching, mentoring and leadership profiling. I did the program in 2010 and highly recommend it. The application process can take some time, and close on 31 July, so get to it if you are keen for an amazing, transformative 2018!

Applications are now open

The Joan Kirner Young and Emerging leadership program

The Joan Kirner program will enable up-and-coming female leaders to obtain the critical skills, networks and experiences required to advance their leadership careers. Take on Board breakfast – Leonie Morgan, AM and Rose Hiscock

Join us for breakfast to hear from these two fabulous Directors.

Leonie Morgan AM is a member of the Holmesglen Institute, Film Victoria and EMILY’s List Australia Boards. She is a Graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and holds a Masters of Education and Graduate Diplomas in Media and Cinema and in Women’s Studies. Leonie has recently been included on the Victorian Women’s Honour Roll for ground-breaking leadership in increasing women’s participation in public life.

Rose Hiscock is the inaugural director of Science Gallery Melbourne, an innovative new gallery dedicated to the collision of art and science. Rose is committed to building a vibrant, balanced and accessible arts sector. Noting the gender gap in directorships, she played an instrumental role in developing a mentoring program to nurture future female museum directors. She is a board member of Back to Back Theatre, Australia’s highly successful company with a full-time ensemble of actors considered to have an intellectual disability, and Chunky Move, one of Australia’s premier dance companies.

Early bird tickets are on sale until 27 June or until sold out, whichever comes first. Book now to avoid missing out on the pearls of wisdom of these two fabulous directors.

‘Honour a woman’ nominations hackathon

Firstly, a huge congratulation to Leonie Morgan, who is speaking at my next Take on Board breakfast, on her AM on Queens Birthday!

Having said that, if, like me, you are frustrated that women receive less than a third of the Australian honours, join me in doing something about it. June is ‘honour a Woman’ month to encourage us all to nominate more women  which sounds like a great idea to me. So, if you, like me, want to see more women honoured then come to this informal working group  we’ll hear about how to nominate women for honours, brainstorm ideas for who to nominate and then set up some working groups to make it happen!

Limited tickets – book here

We are looking for a venue that we can hold this event at so if anyone has a meeting room at their office, or another suggestion, get in touch!

Coffee lucky dip

If you participated, you might want to read more about how it went here. Or, if you are keen, I STILL have people wanting to be part of it – email me here.
