The Take on Board community

Where like-minds come together

For me, the most rewarding thing that has evolved from setting up and hosting the Take on Board podcast in 2019 is the growing and supportive community of women.

They find this community through the podcast. Or they’re Take on Board: KickStarter and Take on Board: Accelerator alumni. Or they’ve worked with me before.

This community of women is very active. Social media plays an important role in this. This community regularly engages in the Take on Board Facebook – and now the LinkedIn group. These women join events such as the Take on Board breakfasts, book club and podcast parties.

What's next for this community?

As many of you know, I’m not a huge fan of Facebook. So, I’m exploring other ways to create a safe and accessible way for this community of women to meet, network, share their news, discuss a problem, ask for advice and offer support.

A number of interesting new digital platforms have been made available since our worlds moved online a couple of years ago. I’m looking into it. So, watch this space!

Helga is so generous with her time and expertise. Not only that, Helga has created a community of talented, accomplished women that is a goldmine of support and contacts. Well worth it!

The community events I run include:
